Miguel Pinto

Miguel Pinto, born in 1995, from Vila Franca de Xira, has been involved in cinema since he was very young.
At the age of 12, he wrote at school that his favorite film was A Clockwork Orange, and that Kubrick was his idol.
There was never any other desire than to pursue film directing.
He studied Cinema at UBI (2013-2016), in Covilhã, and completed a master’s degree in Film Production at the Arts University of Bournemouth (2017-2019).
He moved to London, where he worked for several production companies as a director and editor (TBD Media; Freeda Media; Happenstance Films), and later as a features editor at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
His work has been featured in National Geographic; Channel 4 or Al Jazeera.
He is back in Portugal, where he works as a freelance director and editor.
