Maria Moreira
Maria Moreira was born in Vila Nova de Famalicão, in 1998.
After attending the Visual Arts course at Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco, in 2016, she joins the Escola Superior Artística do Porto to study Cinema and Audiovisual.
Here, she produced several nationally and internationally awarded short films: “No Fim do Mar” (2018), “José” (2019), “Três Tempos de Ir” (2019), “Gastão” (2019) and Príncipe (2020).
In 2019, she started her work as a freelancer, in the fields of photography, production and video edition.
That same year, she enrolled in the Masters in Cinema, at the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal, where she directed, produced and edited the documentary short film “Sónia”.
In 2020/21, she did a 7-month internship at Canal180, where she had the opportunity to edit works for NOS, Galp and Vodafone, as well as developing a new personal project: (IN)VISIBLE.
During her career, she developed and honed her skills in the field of audiovisual production, creating individual photographic and video projects.
