Nuno Baltazar

Nuno Baltazar is from Lisbon, Portugal.
He wrote, produced, and directed the short films Doce Lar (2014) and California (2018).
He participated in the Locarno Filmmakers Academy and was selected for La Résidence of the Cinéfondation Festival de Cannes, to develop his first feature film, Fronteira.
The project was also selected for the Cinemed Festival Development Grant, in Montpellier, for the Crossroads co-production forum at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
It also gained development support from MEDIA Creative Europe.
Along with Fronteira, among other projects, Nuno Baltazar is currently developing Salto, his third short film, and also the long version of California.
