Susana Ramalho Marques

Susana Ramalho Marques grew up in Vieira de Leiria, Portugal, moving to Lisbon to complete a degree in Psychology.
More than a decade and a PhD in Sociology later, she works as a researcher in a portuguese university, in Lisbon.
The research activity has been focused on multiculturalism, minorities and gender equality. As a sociologist and cinephile, she often looks for stories that could be told.
ARA (2019) is her first documentary short film, followed by Litoral Oeste, 9 (2020).
